Developer Tools & Tips 2015
As with all mastery of any trade, it’s a matter of familiarity with the tools, along with practiced skill, in which a craftsman can hone his or her proficiency. In development, it’s often a matter of knowing which tools are available, and how to use them, which may make the difference.
In this video, I showcase the tools I use, their most important features and how I personally use them. If becoming a more efficient and capable FileMaker developer is one of your goals then make sure to watch this video.

Typinator
Hi Matt - great collection of tips. Although I've been developing for a number of years it's always good to hear about how others do it.
Am particularly interested in Typinator and the shortcuts you have defined as exemplified in the video.
Have you posted them anywhere for download and or purchase?
Thanks
John

Great article, Matt, and
Great article, Matt, and thanks to the pointer to your Typinator snippets! I use TextExpander, however, and it will supposedly import a few formats, but a recent version of Typinator is not included: TypeIt4Me (v2 and v3), Typinator (v1), Text files (comma- and tab-separated), RTF files (comma- and tab-separated), RTFD files (comma- and tab-separated). I'd love to use your snippets and would even be glad to type them into my TextExpander from a PDF file if you have such handy. Regardless, thanks for the app suggestions!
Thanks
Wow that was quick :-) Thanks. I look forward to working with them

DASH - FILEMAKER DOCSET
Hey Matt, Great video. I am interested in DASH, however I am finding it difficult to locate a Filemaker docset... The docset I try generating doesn't work. Is there a file link that can be simply downloaded, and uploaded to DASH? I found that MBS had one simply here: dash-feed://http%3A%2F%2Fwww.monkeybreadsoftware.de%2Frealbasic%2FDash%2FMBS.xml

User Contributed doc sets
Sorry about the confusion. The docset is within the User Contributed docsets at the bottom of the list within the sidebar of Dash's preferences for docsets.
